Biography

Luca Vullo was born in Caltanissetta in 1979. His training as a film-maker started in Bologna where he studied film making at the DAMS (Art, Music and Performing Arts Department), attended several workshops and laboratories and worked in numerous sets.

Then he went back to Sicily, to his homeland, and from here his first journey as a director–narrator started with “ Cumu veni si cunta”, a socio-anthropological story about a town and the art of fending for themselves of its people, where the director’s eyes discover the “street trades” made up in order to provide for one’s own family, and a few artists, outcast by the society they live in, who show their works and uneasiness.
